Broccoli Soup

I started introducing Broccoli for my son when he was 10 months old. It has a strong taste, so try to introduce little later. This soup i give him once a while. It is very easy to make as you can steam everything in your cooker. The picking of Broccoli is important, it has to have purplish tint on the leaves. The more color it has , the healthier it is.

Ingredients:

Shallots- 1
Broccoli -3 flowerlets
Pepper-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Jeera powder- a pinch
Butter- 1 tbsp
Corn powder- 2 tsp
Method:
  • Cut the small onion into little pieces.
  • In a small vessel add the above things except butter and pressure cook it to 3 whistles.
  • Then blend in the blender once it cools down with the corn powder. This will give a soup consistency.
  • Then boil the soup at least 3 minutes.
  • Once you remove from the fire, add the butter and feed your little one, when it is warm.
